Unit 1 Choice 3

1.       How should we treat strangers and those “In bonds”? We must be Christ like to all of God’s children and we must love those in need. Remember some have entertained angels.

2.        How is marriage looked upon? It is honorable

3.       What warnings are given to covetousness? Hebrews 13:11 “For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.”

4.       What is “the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever”? We can trust that God is constant that just because a doctrine was taught centuries ago doesn’t mean that it is no longer in affect. We can trust that God will do what he says and keep His promises. He is the same everlastingly.

5.       How are we sanctified? If we live a life of truly honoring God and taking Christ’s name upon us by being baptized and then following His commandments and fearing God by respecting and loving him. By making and keeping covenants.

6.       How do we respond to those who rule over us? We must respect the office in which they hold and if we don’t quite agree with some of their actions we must have complete faith that we will be blessed for honoring them as our leader and know that all will be made right through Christ. “Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves”

7.       Who did Paul ask the people to pray for? Hebrews The leaders of the Church. 13:18 Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
